Description
I captured this pretty pink Bougainvillea just a few days ago. It is mid April in Sydney, so it is Autumn. We have had some warmer than normal weather lately so I thought this may be a late spring bloom, but I then read below that some Bougainvillea bloom again in early fall or Autumn. I have rarely seen this pretty pink colored Bougainvillea.

Although bougainvillea plants are beautiful in bloom, they generally flower only for a period of four to six weeks in the spring. A second round of blossoms sometimes appears in late summer or early fall but these are not guaranteed.
Older plants hold their blooms longer, so time may be all your plant needs.
Bougainvillea (the genus), was named in honor of the explorer and scientist, Louis Antoine de Bougainville (1729 - 1811), who made the first French voyage around the world, and for whom the Papua New Guinean island is also named. Known for their brilliant floral displays and ground-covering power, bougainvilleas originate from the tropics and subtropics of South America.
