Peacocks are beautiful birds and the colors simply lend to an artist having a lot of license with the colors of their plumage and shape of the head in contrast to the magnificent tail display of the male in full show off mode.
I started this quite a while back and never got around to finishing him, but finally decided to totally abstract my painting and work on bold colors.
